The 2015 Inter-Schools Horse Extravaganza held over four days in October 2015 was an enormous success for the school age participants competing in the disciplines of Working classes, sporting, hack, rider, dressage, showjumping and one day eventing. Horse and riders competed in school sections or as individuals and the huge list of sponsors enable a dedicated committee to put together one of the biggest horse events in the horse calendar at AELEC. A very long list of helpers, stewards, judges, caterers, jump judges, time keepers, score keepers and collators and one very busy announcer were blessed with hot sunny days and cool nights to keep riders and horses very busy over the four days and evenings. The popular team Mug race and Hoof and Woof competitions and a drill display provided the evenings entertainment and riders and horses all went to bed tired. Most riders only competed in more than one discipline and the level of competition was extraordinary high in all events. Five photographers were keep busy over the four days and will be kept busy processing photos over the next week or so, please search out their web sites for photos of this amazing four days.
